More Info:

-Submitting work to this show is open to all LGBTQ+ residents of Humboldt County, CA who are 18+ (A does NOT stand for Ally).

-The Opening Celebration is open to all. Artists are highly encouraged to attend. Be aware that themes of  some of the art work will be PG13.

-The show will take place in Eureka California.

The theme is open (meaning there is no set theme). All art themes must be PG13 (no gore, sexual acts etc. Tastefully drawn/painted nudes are okay. NO NUDE PHOTOGRAPHY), as it is a public location.

NO AI art! AI generated art will not be accepted. If you are caught submitting AI art you will be banned from all future shows. Same goes for any AI generated poetry.

The A in LGBTQIA DOES NOT stand for ally!

Visual art entries welcome: ex: Framed original poetry, original costumes and fashion, jewelry, hangable sculpture, drawing, painting, mixed media, print making, photography, etc

All work MUST be ready to hang/display when dropped off at the location. You may include a typed & printed artist statement, but it is optional. Jewelry must be able to be hung on a wall. Sculptures must be able to be hung on a wall due to gallery space restrictions. Folks with costumes/fashion must provide their own method of display (dummy/mannequin of some sort). More info about the space will be posted when it is received.

There will be free LGBTQ themed goodies, snacks, and canned/bottled drinks available during the opening (while supplies last). Fresh food will be available during the opening this year! Consume at your own risk. This is a dry event. No alcohol.

This show will be in down town Eureka this year at Two Street Art Lab. Plan accordingly and call ahead/contact location for accessibility information.

Artwork will be left up from August 1st-31st. If you don't want/cannot have your art up for the length of the show, please contact the Curator so a day and time can be made to get your work after the opening event. 

Covid/Flu/etc. rules: any Covid masking rules the location has in place ALL attendees must follow or you will be asked to leave the event. If you have health concerns or conditions, please ware a mask and keep 6ft apart if possible. Hand sanitizer and masks will be available. Eat/drink provided snacks, food and beverages during the event at your own risk. Take proper precautions. We are not responsible if you get sick. If you are feeling sick, please stay home.

IMPORTANT:

**The wonderful folks at Two Street Art Lab  have requested that no artwork be left behind after the show. So PLEASE pick your work up on the day listed on the form/website. Any work left behind will be taken to The Ink People in Eureka and you will have to get it from there. This is an active art space and there are other shows going up after this one so the walls and floors MUST be clear.**

Please remember that this community event is being put together by one person with a small group of volunteers. The person holding the event and the location owner are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or broken items, but we will do our best to keep things safe. If you do not feel comfortable leaving your work up for the whole show, after the opening, you may contact the Curator or the location to schedule a day to pick up your work.****

***NO photographing artwork or video recording allowed by guests during the opening event (photos taken by artists and their attending family is okay). If you are caught doing this or are a disturbance during the opening event, you will be asked to leave and authorities will be called if necessary.***

 ***Themes of the show will range from G to PG13. There may be drawn or painted nudity, as this is a fine art show. You have been informed and it is stated multiple times on the website and the submission form (coming soon). Please make the right decisions for you and your family before attending.***
